Ms. Sherman has owned her own law office since 1999. 75% of her practice is family law and 25% of her practice is criminal defense. Her family practice includes all areas of divorce, custody, alimony, enforcement, paternity, child support, modifications, domestic violence and appeals.  She is both a private and 8th Circuit program mediator.

She has handled complex issues such as international child custody,  parental kidnapping,  parental alienation, and personal injury cases involving domestic violence.

In her criminal practice, she has handled cases including sex offenses, drug offenses, theft offenses. and battery cases in both felony and misdemeanor court.

Ms. Sherman has extensive court room experience from personally handling over a 1000 cases and 100's of trials and hearings. Her busy law practice keeps her in Court almost every day of the week.

Not only does she have court room experience, but she has built a solid reputation as an honest and hard working attorney. Ms. Sherman's law practice has been characterized by having a firm grasp of the issues and having a firm approach to client advocacy — seeking solutions without sacrificing client interests. She has developed a reputation for being knowledgeable about the law, being prepared in Court, and for fair dealings across the board.
